On February 1, 2005 the ownership of ISL was transferred from Service Experts, Inc., a subsidiary of Lennox Industries, to three of ISL's member contractors.  

Now more than ever, ISL is dedicated to meeting the needs of the independent contractor and becoming the undisputed leader in the HVAC industry. ISL is moving forward at full speed to deliver the best in HVAC business systems, new technology, as well as marketing. 

More good news, ISL has contracted with the newly formed HVAC Learning Systems to provide technical training. Members will continue to be able utilize the Connections automated training and registration system. All ISL member training history remains intact and will move forward with you. International Service Leadership is pleased to introduce Dan Foster of Jackson Foster Heating and Air Conditioning in La Mesa, California as 2004 Contractor of the Year. Dan is quick to credit his employees' outstanding attitude and effort in attaining this recognition. According to Dan, being named 'Comeback Contractor of the Year' in February of 2004 was when striving to become Contractor of the Year became a company goal. How did they do it? No one can tell the story better than Dan himself...
